Glazed sugar and praline capture the first bite of golden party, brightened by jasmine and muguet. Creamy notes of tonka bean and vanilla custard cream swirl with soft rose before settling into the warmth of cashmere musk, patchouli and vetiver.
All Ficifolia Fragrances are an Extrait de Parfum with 25% concentration. They have the ability to last (at minimum) a full work day and typically smelt in your clothes and hair until you wash them!

We found the rivalry charmingly ridiculous and turned it into fragrance form — because naturally, everyone thinks they have the best vanilla too.

Inspired by the countless country bakeries claiming to make the nation’s best vanilla slice, Best in Show transforms that tongue-in-cheek rivalry into fine fragrance. Our fictional Country Bake Off celebrates flaky layers, silky custard and small-town glory, reimagining an award-winning dessert as a perfume worthy of first place.

Lovely sweet, light fragrance. Definitely out of my comfort zone as I love a heady fragrance, but ficifolia does perfume so well I decided to blind buy it. It has almost an icing sugar smell to start with, so light and lovely, then it settles into a stronger vanilla fragrance, that is very moreish. Good longevity, its very nice catches moments of vanilla throughout the day

ABSOLUTELY, and I cannot stress this enough, STUNNING. 🤩 I bought a full bottle of Best in Show after being recommended it at Lore perfumery and it’s the perfect sweet gourmand fragrance. As a gourmand lover, and someone who’s recently fallen down the perfume rabbit hole, I’d been searching for my “perfect vanilla” without even really knowing what that meant. Lo and behold… the search is over. I’ve found her. 🤍 She layers beautifully with everything, never tips into being sickly sweet and is such a crowd pleaser. I just know people are walking past thinking, “Ooh, she smells good.” 🧁 Then I had the HONOUR of trying this flight deck. I’m ridiculously fussy with fragrance, so I genuinely couldn’t believe I enjoyed every single perfume from one perfume house. Sophisticated vanilla that dries down beautifully! Amazing on it’s own, but simple enough to layer it with another fragrance and the packaging was to die for😋

The campaign for the Best In Show launch had me excited, and I grabbed it as soon as it was released. Also seeing the PR packs go out with a vanilla slice! Perfection. It is my first full sized (baby full size?) purchase from Ficifolia although I’ve tried most of the range. I adore the sweet opening and it maintains the signature Ficifolia feel and dry down. A beautiful interpretation of an Australian classic, vanilla slice, and I can’t wait to see what other classics Sophie has up her sleeve
Gorgeous buttery, flaky, sweet but not sickly scent, and incredibly addictive. Realistic but whimsical, it's a very classy take on vanilla grounded by pastry notes, like a quality creme anglaise. The packaging is also good with the box especially feeling quite luxurious!

I'm gonna need this in 100 ml for sure. The opening reminds me a bit of that popular vanilla fragrance at Sephora but only for the first minute or so. The dry down is chef's kiss. It’s airy and super wearable in hot weather. 100/10😍

This perfume is an absolute DELIGHT! I smelt it at the Finders Keepers Market and knew I needed to add it to my collection. This is my second Ficifolia perfume and they keep getting better.
I love this fragrance it is great on its own and when i layer it with powdery floral notes!

I love perfume, and one of my greatest compliments is being told how beautiful I smell day in day out, by family, colleagues and random strangers in the street. I had never heard of this brand but got drawn into the Instagram advertisement of the Best in show, dreamy vanilla slice inspired perfume. Right up my alley. When the sale hit the website a few days later I nabbed the 100ml bottle at 30% off. I have had the bottle for a couple of weeks now and have been wearing it everyday. I don’t think it smells anything like a vanilla slice. I can hardly smell any particular note other than a slight, sweet smoky scent and I have received zero compliments on the fragrance…Like from anyone. I can’t even smell it on my clothes the next day and I can usually smell my regular perfumes when I iron my clothes after they have been washed. So now I’m spraying twice the amount trying to smell something. I don’t want to be the negative Nancy that leaves the bad review, but I read all the 5star reviews of this perfume before I bought them, which gave me so much confidence in my purchase so I think it’s only fair that I be honest. I still have given 3 stars as the bottle is cute, it’s an Australian owned and run brand etc, but it is just not for me. I believe you should still get the little vial to try, even if you buy the perfume on sale, as I still paid $147 and would have definitely returned the fragrance.

This is genuinely the most delicious vanilla scent I’ve tried yet!! It is so well balanced and not too sweet, I get so many compliments on it.
This is my 4th Fici Folia scent, and by far my favourite! It reminds me of a vanilla custard donut, and dries down so nicely. I’ll definitely be buying a bigger bottle soon.
