Are the perfumes Vegan & Cruelty-Free?

Yes, our fragrance formulations are vegan & cruelty-free. Darling, our Fici-HQ kelpie pup, ensures our processes are all followed accordingly!

Are your perfumes genderless?

That's a great question. Now we don't label our fragrances as 'Masculine' or 'Feminine' but our customer based are largely female. Does this mean men can't wear our fragrances? Of course they can! If you like it, you can wear it.

Fun fact: Gendered perfumes were first developed in the late 1800s when department stores were invented. It was just a way to have two separate deparments and make more money!

Will these perfumes affect my hormones?

I'm so glad you asked this question. It's a question that comes from fear mongering in the world of perfume marketing.

Let me explain: Parabens and Phthalates used to be very commonly used in fragrance formulations to improve longevity. These ingredients have both been noted for their potential hormone-disrupting effects. There is not a lot of evidence to support this.

Regardless, our fragrances are free of Parabens and Phthalates. In fact, most modern fragrances are!

Are your perfumes natural?

Our perfumes are a premium blend of natural ingredients and safe synthetics. Think of it like mixing acrylic and watercolour paints, they just work better together!

Natural does not always equal better. Natural extracts can exhaust the environment because it requires so much material to produce minimal oil - so not always the most sustainable choice.

The creation of synthetic fragrances is a highly regulated process. Synthetic fragrances are incredibly safe and often more sustainable to their natural counterparts.

How should I store my perfume?

Store your fragrances in a temperature-controlled, dry and sheltered place. This could be on your vanity, in your sock drawer or even in your fridge!

You want to avoid storing your perfume in sunny, hot and/or humid places. Your bathroom, window sill and car are not good places to keep your fragrances.

Allergic Reactions

People suffering from skin sensitivity should use caution when using any type of perfume. We strongly advise using the 2ml sample given with every purchase to test on the skin before opening the product.

In the extremely unlikely instance that you've had an allergic reaction to a product, immediately discontinue use of the product, take a photo of the reaction, and contact us.

Allergy-related returns must be less than 20% used to qualify for a refund.

Hmm, my bottle might be faulty?

This doesn't sound right! We pride ourselves on our quality processes but if something doesn't seem right, please send an email to hello@ficifolia.com within 60 days and we'll do our best to help you out. We will ask for proof of purchase and photos showing and demonstrating the fault to share with our production team. A replacement may be sent at the discretion of the Ficifolia team.

Enjoy 2ml of 3 x fragrances by Ficifolia. Sample them as you please until you decide on a favourite.

The Flight Deck is fully redeemable on any 100ml perfume purchase. A personalised redeemable code will be sent by email, please check your junk if you haven't received it yet or email us at hello@ficifolia.com

Your code will be valid for 3 months.

How long is the code valid for?

Your Flight Deck code is valid for 3 months.

How do I use the code?

You'll receive a code via email. Once you've added your desired scent to card, copy and paste that code in the discount box at checkout.

Questions about shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! All orders above $45 have free shipping, Australia-wide.

How long does shipping take?

We aim to fulfil your order within 1-5 business days. Shipping to metro areas typically takes 1-4 business days.

Perfume is flammable, so all orders must travel by road (or boat, in Tassie's case). This means your order may take a little longer than usual to get to you.

Do you ship internationally?

Not right now :( Hoping to change that soon!

I didn't receive tracking/parcel is missing

Uh oh! You've got two options here:

1. You may not have received tracking as your order may not be fulfilled by us yet. If you're worried about your order, please get in touch with us at hello@ficifolia.com

2. If the order has already been picked up by Aus Post, contact Aus Post directly. They should be able to assist in finding your package.

We strongly advise you make sure that your order is shipping to a secure location, as once a package has been delivered to the correct location, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Claims on lost deliveries will not be accepted after 4 weeks from the date of purchase, consideration will only be made to customers who have made contact within this 31 days.

Questions about returns

What does risk-free returns mean?

Commitment can be hard. We've made it easy.

Every 100ml fragrance comes with a complimentary 2ml sample to test before committing to your new fragrance. Test the sample vial before opening the perfume box.

If you decide the fragrance is not right for you, send us an email and return your purchase within 7 days for a full refund. Return shipping costs will be at the customers expense.

Please ensure you do not remove or tamper with the sealed perfume box. Any box that is deemed, at our discretion, to be opened or tampered with, will not be eligible for a refund.

FYI: This policy does not apply to our City Collection Trios. If you'd like to try before you buy, we suggest purchasing the Melbourne Flight Deck first.

Can I exchange my perfume for a different one?

Provided you have not opened the perfume box in your possession - of course!

Do I have to pay shipping for returned products?

Yes, unless the product is faulty, all change of mind returns must be organised and paid for by the customer.

Can I return my Flight Deck?

We do not accept returns on Flight Decks.

Can I return merch?

We can offer store-credit for returns of Ficifolia merch. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for change of mind returns.
