Meet Bistro Boy: an olfactory love letter to wining and dining in Sydney’s most revered establishments. All juiced up with eucalyptus, tomato leaf, and mint, this spritz summons burrata salad, a stolen glance, and the batting of lashes. Wear to relive last weekend’s long lunch with the girls, or before trialing the new locale in your own company (à la Carrie). You’ll be one spray away from enough confidence to leave your number via lipliner on a napkin — that waiter is really cute.

Sydney-centric smells are glossy, intoxicating and brimming with life. Are you spritzing before a Sunday Bill’s debrief (post-Berner), or a date night in Paddo? These scent cocktails pair well with vinyl and vino at Caterpillar Bar.
No matter what pocket of the cosmopolis you’re in, Sydney’s energy is palpable and signals endless possibilities. Ficifolia presents the perfumes that will outlast your Bondi-to-Bronte and cling to your favourite beach kaftan, like wet hands to the return a glossy magazine.
A daily veil of fragrance
Just as tangible fashion pieces express a person’s innermost sense of style, a daily veil of fragrance should introduce its wearer before they say a word. This invisible accessorisation can make a first impression, steal a kiss, or ignite nostalgia.
Fragrance implores us to stride confidently, assuredly and uniquely into the day (or night) as it mingles with our skin, hair and warmth in a completely original chemical reaction. That’s the magic, and that’s the Ficifolia effect!
To take you on olfactory adventures
Potency is served in smell and storytelling, with each bottle ‘reverse-engineering’ a moment, time or place gone by (yet still reminds us of home). Each bottle pays homage to ‘niche’ and specific Sydney-centric experiences, that locals and tourists alike indulge.

Divine, unique fragrance. I always get compliments and asked about what perfume I’m wearing. Long-lasting scent. Beautiful packaging.
Absolutely delicious! I smell like a ln Italian herb garden and freshly made pasta in the best way. Get compliments on it at the office and it’s mine and my husbands favourite of the Petite Parfum Pack selection. Have already ordered a 100ml bottle and hope this scent sticks around at Ficifolia.
I tried a sample of this a few months ago and was so blown away by it I had to get the full bottle. For me there’s something quite nostalgic about this scent but it’s also invigorating at the same time. I get a lot of the basil and eucalyptus, which I find quite uplifting.
The girls from Lore Perfumery featured Bistro Boy in their Spritzmas pack and I knew I had to get my hands on a bottle! How Sophie has managed to capture both the fresh, raw energy of tomato and basil coupled with the creaminess of burrata but still keep it elegant and refined in a stunning fragrance - beyond me - but eternally grateful to experience this art
I blind brought this based on the good reviews. When I first put it on I was very sceptical as I did smell like a garden salad haha. However, as it dried down the smell was so fresh and beautiful. It reminds me of a beautiful spring or summer day. I find myself smelling my wrists constantly as I enjoy the fresh smell. This perfume is absolutely perfect for spring and summer and I think I found my signature summer scent. I will need to restock on this one as I am obsessed!
I met the team from Ficifolia initially at a massive design market in Sydney a year ago. I LOVED this scent so much but never got around to ordering it.. but it lived on in my olfactory memory. I recently went back to the same design market planning to buy one from the team there, but ended up just ordering it online. I was slightly nervous that my scent memory might be different from the actual perfume that arrived, but if anything it was better.. VERY happy to have found a new scent.
If you're looking for a lovely green and fresh tomato scent, I would highly recommend this. It has excellent throw and longevity and It's a photorealistic scent - the first spray made me think of burrata salad, in a good way. But the longer you wear it, the scent mellows out a bit and gets a touch sweeter.
Bistro Boy is such a gorgeous sent - at first I was a little sceptical but as soon as I wore it, I loved it.
It drys to be the most gorgeous musky herbal scent that reminds me of going out for a long lunch or cheeky drink after a morning of gardening

Love this description Emily! So happy you love your new scent x
I have never been more obsessed with a fragrance! I tend to get over scents quickly and try new ones ~ Bistro Boy will definitely stay on rotation. It is such a unique and expressive scent, I love it!
This is an incredible green fragrance that makes me think of every great time sitting out in a garden munching down on an antipasto platter!I really enjoy the fresh, green take that is balanced out with the creaminess of the lactonic notes. I get basil, tomato leaf, the creaminess and a lovely woody dry down (maybe Sandlewood?) that remains fresh. Perfect for days out, nights for a meal, good times. It’s also super unisex.
This is gorgeous. A truly green fragrance without too much sharpness - the burrata note gives it a creamy cushion - but nonetheless an almost photorealistic basil. It lasts beautifully, drying down to a sweet freshness.
I first heard of the fragrance from Suzy and Nicola, On The Scent podcast. I love supporting an Aussie brand, so I thought I'd give it a go.
I can honestly say, Bistro Boy is like nothing I've ever smelled before.
It smells exactly like a breezy summer brunch with my besties. Just an instant happy heart scent, joyously bright and herby and full of life.
Ten out of ten, love it, well done you lot, it's my new summer bae.
I bought the flight deck and immediately hated this fragrance. Then I wore it while away on a business trip, and it grew on me and has become my absolute favourite thing. I am a gourmand girl, and am used to sweeter fragrances, I would say this is a very savoury gourmand, and it is gorgeous. It has extremely long wear and stays on my clothes even after I wash them and projects really well. It's so unique, truly special - new signature scent!
Bistro Boy is such a unique fragrance! It's a tiny bit less wearable for me personally than some of the other fragrances as it's so fresh and herby, but gosh it's beautiful. Such an incredible option for summer and you'll have people always asking what you're wearing!
Love it, starts all minty and that gorgeous tomato vine coming through, and settles into a creamy, vaguely floral situation with that tomato still shining through.
A genuine masterpiece.
